Known as "The Opulent Chef," Mike Magallanes is a trained San Francisco culinary artist who has mastered the art of cannabis infusion.
In his talk with hosts Nick and Steve, Mike discusses his services. These include private dinners at a home or private venue and pop up private events where he creates his cannabis infused creations on site. To keep compliant with cannabis regs, these events are invitation only, and require approval from the location's owner.
Food pairings are as unique as each strain. For example, Mike recommends a turkey and cranberry sandwich infused with "orange tangy diesel" to liven up your holiday leftovers. Mike's expertise in terpenes and aroma started with practice, and develop through collaboration with professional hash-makers -- whom he refers to as the sommeliers (wine stewards) of the cannabis world.
